« Hide

The 'mercury' site has the old sakai.assignment tool which is not available in 2.5 anymore (and thus has no icon and clicking on it does nothing). It should be replaced with the sakai.assignment.grades tool

If this is going to be fixed, it would be good to do SAK-14440 at the same time (adding Site Info to the mercury site)

This is the patch file for ~~SAK-14482~~. Please note both "mercury" site and "worksite" site are updated.

I've included the patch file, which should address the problem in both "mercury" site and "worksite" site.

However, I don't have commit rights to the kernel project. So I am assigning this ticket back to you.

Zhen, could you also create a patch for 2.5.x for the branch managers to merge? (For 2.6, where this is in the kernel, the fix is being tracked in ~~KNL-72~~.)

I just did a fresh checkout of trunk and started up on a new database and the Mercury site still has the old assignments tool in it. Has this been committed to trunk? SVN commit looks like it.

Ian can you confirm?

Ian's kernel commit is in place.

However, in order for the change to take effect, I found I have to do the following:

1. go to kernel folder and do "mvn clean install".
2. cd ..
3. cd master
4. mvn clean install
5. cd ..
6. mvn clean install sakai:deploy

Then the mercury site does have "sakai.assignment.grades" tool, instead of "sakai.assignment"

If one does not manually update their database there is no issue, the sites will continue to have the old tools, so this is safe.

Database scripts for 2.5.x added at r56022

Fix merged to 2.5.x at r56023
