Currently, the only access information displayed in Preview mode of an announcement is "Display to Non-members" (public vs. non-public). Instructors from Stanford have expressed an interest in seeing the groups/sections to which the announcement is restricted listed in Preview mode. Instead of the Display to Non-Members field, I think it would make more sense to have a "Display to" field that would match the selections in the Access selections in the Add Announcement page, such as Public, Entire Site, or a list of groups.

"Display to Non-Members" in preview has been replaced by Access, which will display one of the following text, depending upon the selection-
- Only members of this site can see this announcement
- This announcement is publicly viewable
- Displays this announcement to selected groups only.

If an announcement is associated with groups, then it displays the groups in the preview mode.

Test-

1. In announcement, click "Add" to add new announcement or click "Edit" to edit an existing announcement.

2. In the Add/Edit announcement page, select Access option, which may be one of the following-

Access

-Only members of this site can see this announcement

-This announcement is publicly viewable

-Display this announcement to selected groups only.

3. Now click "Preview". In the preview page you will see Access field along with the option that was selected (see after.png), instead of Display to Non-Member field (see before.png).
