« Hide

When a group is deleted, all the announcement associated with the group disappears.
This should be avoided and the announcements should be displayed with "hide" status

The status of the announcement messages that are associated with non-existing groups (deleted groups), are made to change into site (Access) and hide (Availability).
Hence these messages will be visible in the hidden status.

Additional changes are made at BaseMessageService, where the status changes are made only when the announcement message "from" user is equal to the current user.

This issue was not merged to 2.6, the fix version is wrong.

We tested this fix at umich and had a number of users that reported problems with it before.

Nothing wrt to the fix, just with it being broken. I was just commenting about how the fix was verified to work by multiple sources. ;) Made sure it got merged today and raised it's priority.
