This seems to be working ok for me. David, can you provide the OS and browser you were using when this failed for you? I am using Mac OS X 10.4.3, Firefox 1.0.7. Thanks!

I was using Windows XP and Windows IE 6.0

The error message, on two different machines running Windows XP and IE 6.0 says:

Internet Explorer cannot download download_csv from test. oncourse.iu.edu.

Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.

The other error message was trying to save it.

When trying to open it, the error message is:

Could not open 'https://test.oncourse.iu.edu/portal/tool/91dd637d-0d2d-47ad-80b5-f812e107f2f1/download_csv'.

This functionality was removed for the initial release, but it would be good to add it back in once it is working properly.

IE 6.0 defaults to "no cache" settings (unlike the other browsers) which prevented the file from downloading properly.

This looks to be resolved on our local implementation. Sakai (r12860)
