Upload a file of greater than the upload quota.

The page will correctly display the "Upload Files" page, with the correct alert.

However, clicking on 'add another file' does not then work.

Suggestion for preferred behavior: when the file size limit is exceeded it would be great to return to the list of items the user had specified with a notice (a red asterisk?) next to the item that caused the limit to be exceed. This would allow the user to remove the problematic item and any other items further down the list which would cause the quota to be execeeded.

For QA of 2.5.0, please review the circumstances described in SAK-10042, SAK-10047, SAK-5607, SAK-9079, and any other tickets that describe ambiguity or misdirection or lack of direction in the messages given to users when the Resources tool fails to perform the requested action. If the problems described in a particular ticket are fixed, please close that ticket. If not, please try to provide as much information as possible about how to reproduce the error and about what the desired behavior would be. Please set the target version of those tickets as the next QA version for the 2.5.0 release. That will help focus attention on fixing them ASAP.

Is this occurring on the QA servers or nightly2?

Harriet Truscott - 13-Dec-2007 04:54
On QA1-UK. I just checked and it continues to happen.

Jim Eng - 13-Dec-2007 09:18
This is fixed in trunk. It's a very simple fix and low-risk. The fix can be verified as described earlier in the ticket.

This should be merged to 2.5.x and included in the next QA tag if possible.

After it is merged into 2.5.x, please assign to Mike Osterman so it can be merged to 2.4.x.

Megan May - 13-Dec-2007 13:06
Merged into 2.5.x and being assigned to 2.4.x BM for merging there

err . . to mike

Mike Osterman - 13-Dec-2007 14:41
Merged to 2.4.x - r39238

Neha Saxena - 09-Jan-2008 14:59
For 2.5.x: I added a file of size > 20 MB, the Upload files page gave the correct alert and the "add another file" link also works.

Stephen Marquard - 10-Jan-2008 01:59
Closing based on Neha's verification.
