Is there a mechanism to ensure that the changes are correctly translated in the various alternate language files?
As far as I know it's the responsibility of the translation teams to keep track of changes in the English bundles.
But in many cases (NL for one), multiple English terms may already have been translated to a single consistent term, so the inconsistencies here are more of an English-specific problem than a change that would have consequences for other translations. For the record, UI DG members voted +1 (8), 0 (1), -1 (0) for this, 8-10 Apr 07, confirming the earlier discussion (4/5 Jan 07).
Gonzalo, when you've finished up all the sub-tasks for this one that you can, please assign it back to me. Thanks.
all done with the velocitools - so assigning back to Peter K.
[Bulk Change] This issue is currently Unresolved, however, it has a Fix Version set. In keeping with the newly added Target Version, Fix Versions should only be set for Resolved Issues, and only after it has been merged to that version specifically. The Fix Version is being reset to Unknown for this issue. Please use the Target Version to indicate when you plan to address this issue.
Resolving this as all related issues have been resolved.
2.5.0 QA has been completed. Unfortunately, there were not resources available to specifically test this issue. If you find this to still be a problem in the latest release (at this point 2.5.2), please reopen the JIRA and add the latest affects version.
