      Description

      mailing lists, for example sakai-dev, goes to a large number of people, many of whom might be on vacation or have auto-responders of various types, traditionally, MLM (mailing list managers) have added a:

      Precedence: list

      or

      Precedence: bulk

      header that is consulted by most auto-responders and if present, do not send out auto-responses/vacation messages to the sender. For each group that Sakai sends email to, the addition of this header should be a toggle-able option and should default to on.
