      Description

If you upload a Word 2007 or Excel 2007 file, an improper file type is designated for that file.

      Word 2007 (.docx) - application/octet-stream
      Excel 2007 (.xlsx) - application/octet-stream

A related issue is that you don't get the proper icons next to those file types that you would expect to see if you uploaded a Word/Excel 2003 or earlier file.

With Powerpoint 2007 (.pptx) files, I believe the file type designation is proper (application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation), but again, you don't get the icon next to the file that you would expect from a Powerpoint 2003 or earlier file.
