      Description

      Despite many attempts at editing the jldap-beans.xml file I am unable to assign registered type to users authenticate via our ldap. ldap is working but the accounts are created with what seems to be a null type. The account details disappear when they log out. We are unable to implement Sakai in production without this working so it is major for us at Monash Uni. My best hack at the bean is the following with the full file attached. Thanks PeterD.

      EntryAttributeToUserTypeMapper section as follows:

      <bean id="edu.amc.sakai.user.EntryAttributeToUserTypeMapper"
      class="edu.amc.sakai.user.EntryAttributeToUserTypeMapper"
      singleton="true">

      <property name="logicalAttributeName">
      <value>login</value>
      </property>

      <property name="returnLiteralAttributeValueIfNoMapping">
      <value>false</value>
      </property>

      <property name="defaultSakaiUserType">
      <value>Registered</value>
      </property>

      </bean>
