In IE8, Forms with required select fields (minoccurs=1) do not display the red asterisk

      Description

      In Sakai 2.6 (maybe earlier versions as well), if a form contains a required select field with <5 options, the red asterisk signifiying that the field is required is not present. This only occurs when a select field is rendered as radio buttons. When there are at least 5 select options and the field renders as a dropdown menu, the asterisk is present. The asterisk does display correctly in FF and Safari under OS X, as well as FF and Google Chrome under Vista. I could not test IE7, because I don't have access to box that hasn't be auto upgraded to IE8. I haev attached a simple form and screen shot that illustrates the problem.
