I developed some scripts to really check all of the Sakai trunk source and compile everything from scratch, indies, and all. This exercise identifies little crufty bits that are not quite right - mostly things pointing to the wrong version or generating the wrong version.
I attach the scripts that I use to catch the cruft, the output of my cruft-detector before the patches I propose, and the outut of my cruft-detetor after the proposed patches.
These are simple things and should be able to be handled by Anthony, David, Steve S, or anyone with wide commit - pretty simple stuff.
These all apply to trunk - I have not yet built a cruft-detector for a tag or branch.
