Description
We are getting emails and support call from panicked students who are being told by the system that they have failed an assessment.
A faculty member has set up an assessment of multiple parts with each part being a draw of some set of questions from a random pool.
Part A - 6 from 12
Part B - 6 from 24
Part C - 6 from 18
Part D - 1 from 6
part E - 1 from 6
The entire assessment totals to 5 points, meaning that each question is a fraction of a point.
some questions are multiple answer FIBs, others are single answer FIB.
When calculating the grade you would expect the answer to be drawn as:
(total points earned/points for questions selected)
Instead the calcuation appears to be:
(total points earned/points for questions IN POOL)
This information also propagates to the gradebook where the F is displayed.
