Description

      The date format in
and
contradicts the specification of RSS 2.0.
      (e.g.
and
.)
      Therefore, RSS readers cannot correctly detect the date.

      They must follow RFC822.
      And, those characters should be English that is not localized.

        This is still wrong if you're referring to http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc0822.txt.

        Year should only be 2DIGIT in RFC #822.

        Is there a newer standard for RSS?

        RFC822 has been changed by RFC1123. (http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1123.txt)
        It is said as follows:

        5.2.14 RFC-822 Date and Time Specification: RFC-822 Section 5

           The syntax for the date is hereby changed to:

              date = 1*2DIGIT month 2*4DIGIT
