      Description

      The "Clear" link does not make sense out of context once the status information is filled in.

      When in the links list, a screen-reader user can find the "clear status" link, but they don't know what is being cleared.

      Add additional descriptive text to provide context, and use CSS to position the added text off screen.
      Example:

      <a ...>Clear<span class="skip"> status message.</span></a>

      CSS:
      .skip
      {
      position: absolute;
      left: -999em;
      width: 1em;
      overflow: hidden;
      }
