      Description

Of course its important to be able to import tests in IMS compliant format but this format is too difficult for instructors to create on their own. Instructors should be able to import tests using a syntax they can understand. Here is an example of a possible syntax for four of the main question types (multiple choice, multiple response, short answer and essay). A more advanced grammar can also include options for specifying feedback and media but it shouldn't get too complicated. The emphasis should be on simplicity. Surprisingly, we've found this feature to actually be more important than being able to create questions in a GUI
