A user can view Schedule items merged into their MyWorkspace Schedule. If they have appropriate permissions for revising such items, then they should be able to do so from there as well, rather than having to navigate to original worksite's Schedule first.
I'm logged into my course as an instructor and I cannot revise events. When I click on "Permissions" in the schedule tool, I only see permissions for access & maintain, not the course roles instructor, student & TA. Perhaps I am doing this wrong, but it seems incorrect for an instructor to not be able to revise Schedule events by default:
-Login to course site SMPL 001 001 Su06 as instructor "kiminstructor"
-Click on any event in Weekly view
-The Revise button is missing. Click "permissions" and the roles for "access" & "maintain" are listed, not for the other roles instructor, student, teaching assitant.
