When a visual impaired / blind user opens up Sakai 11.3 on a Iphone our accessibility testers have informed us that none of the meta tag labels when using the iPhone screen reader is being read. The iPhone Voice Screen reader is only verbally reading the hyperlinks saying "LINK", "LINK", "LINK" with no label information.
Our host provider Longsight has reminded us that the new Sakai 11.3 is a responsive design, so the question is was Sakai 11.3 tested against the iPhone Voice Screen reader for accessibility usage.
If their is any hot keys built in the tool to be read by the iPhone Screen Reader we have verified that its not being read and giving no verbal cues.
Users using the iPhone Voice Screen Reader at Illinois state university is telling us that our new Sakai 11.3 home page and main workspace pages are not verbally reading the labels.
