      1. As instructor, in a site with at least one student, import fileuploadquiz.zip or create a quiz with a single question, and in authoring the question, use the Add Attachments button to upload at least file, such as a text file or Word document.
      2. Check the Settings to confirm dates will not prevent taking the quiz, then Publish the quiz.
      3. Using a screen reader and keyboard navigation, log in as a student and take the quiz.
      4. Confirm you can successfully:
        • Comprehend the question.
        • Download and access the attachment with "instructions" (instructors often use a file upload type question with an attachment that students have to read).

      Description

      When an instructor uses the Add Attachments option to attach a file in a quiz question, and a student takes the quiz, there are no screen reader instructions that the file needs to be downloaded or opened.  These instructions need to be added so students can access the file.

      Per Marissa Thompson's comment in SAM-3302 regarding this issue:

      There is a JAWS key command alt+n that allows a user to open or save a document.  If hidden text could tell users to use this command, then that would be helpful.  Maybe something like:  "Use JAWS key alt+n to open or save the document."
