      Description

Can we add immediate feedback if and the partial scoring-based on student attempts to multiple choice questions? Not just identified partial credit alternates, but relate the score to student attempts at the answer.

Many instructors have made use of the physical "scratch card" style testing, the IF-AT paper approach provides

(and if you are not familiar, this is an endorsement).

I know there is a lot of interest in having the option to give students partial marks and immediate feedback on their response to multiple choice questions, as the IF-AT permits (if you scratch correctly on your second attempt, the human marker could give you 1/2 marks for having two boxes scratched, and one correct). A large university in Toronto is currently developing an LTI testing tool based on this feature. Feels like Samigo is a few tweaks away.
