Description
When we print an assessment that has survey questions we see coded texts instead of the words we selected.
Update 6/8/2017 - Tiffany Stull
During UVA's upgrade to Sakai 11.2, we discovered this was still an issue. We have a patch to contribute back.
The answer options to some Survey type questions do not display correctly (see attached PDF - weirdprintview-publishedanonassessment.pdf, and screen shot below - note in the PDF that not all questions in the same test are necessarily affected - Question #9 with these options is displayed correctly!) E.g. the option Strongly Agree shows up as st_strongly_agree, but not consistently.
Testing Steps
- Create an assessment with a Survey question, giving options of Strongly Disagree > Strongly Agree.
- Select Print from the drop-down on the Working Copies tab.
- Observe display of the labels.
- Try the PDF download.
- Observe display of labels in the PDF .
