      Description

Currently, Lessons created each folder under the top site folder in resources tool for each page(same for subpage too). Two disadvantages at least:

      1. Not neat and may confuse with other files in resources tool

      2. Some instructors might not want students to see the resources that created for Lessons in resources tool and want to hide them. Hard to hide Lessons related resources since they have to hide for each folder; would be more easier to just hide the top folder of Lessons if there is one.

Suggestion: Would it be possible to create a top folder for Lessons in resources tool to better organize materials just from lesson builder tool.

      EX:

It would be nice to have a folder configurable in system properties file and put everything under lessons to be under the defined folder by default, ex: For "Lessons Test" Site-> Resources tool

Lessons Test Resources ---------site resource top folder (the root)
BuildLessons ------------------ This is the top Lessons tool folder by default, just a place holder, could be any folder name each institutional would like to have for their Lessons in the site
Lessons-----------------these are pages folders that we currently see (Lessons is only one of the default page when you add the tool and add content in resources)
      Sakai-export
      Sub pages
      Top pages

There will be a case that instructor might change the default BuildLessons folder name since it is just a folder in a resource too; we might want to make this default top Lesson builder folder unchangable once created.

Not sure how feasible or difficult it could be; but seems our instructional designers and customer supports like this feature a lot.
