      • Create a quiz allowing multiple submissions and recording the average score
      • Take the quiz twice as a student, answering differently so your final score will obviously be an average
      • Take the quiz once as a different student
      • As the instructor, go to the Scores > Total Scores
      • Confirm the "Apply this Score" feature is available on the "Average Submission" view
      • Confirm the "Submissions" column appears in the table and indicates 2 submissions for the first student and 1 for the second, and 0 for everyone else
      • Switch to the "All Submissions" view and manually assign an adjustment score to one of the students that didn't submit
      • Switch back to "Average Submission" and apply a different score to all students with 0 submissions.
      • Confirm applying the score works as advertised
        • Note that the score you assigned manually should change to the new score, because it meets the condition that the student has 0 submissions

      Description

The instructor's Total Scores page in Tests & Quizzes when the average score option is enabled doesn't have the Apply This Score option. This is inconsistent with the rest of the scoring types. While you can switch to the "All Submissions" view to use the feature, it may not be obvious that this is possible.

This patch adds the feature to the average score view. It also introduces a new column to the view to display the number of submissions made for each student. Due to the way this feature works in general (applied to students with no submission, including ones that have been assigned a grade manually), this is necessary to clarify which students will have the grade applied.

Note: the "average score" option requires samigo.canRecordAverage=true to be set, which is false by default.
