      Description

      1. Create a grade item.
      2. Grade any student on this item.
      3. Select 'Course grade override' in the drop down menu icon next to the final course grade.
      4. Type 'A' in the 'course grade override' field and click the 'Save course grade override' button. The override grade is not saved and this message is shown: 'The course grade entered is invalid according to the grading schema currently in use by this gradebook.'

The Grading Schema includes the label 'A' so it would not fail. However it does not fail when the instructor uses any invalid character as *, ?, k.
