Instructor does not see Rubrics on the navigation menu after adding the tool

      1. Create a new site as the instructor
      2. Add assignments, gradebook, etc, making sure to also add rubrics
      3. Finish the site request
      4. Enter the site - expect Rubrics to be listed in the navigation menu (currently it does not display for the instructor)
      5. Click on Site Info -> Manage Tools and verify Rubrics displays as being added (checked)

       

      1. Create another site but don't add rubrics when setting up
      2. Finish the site request
      3. Click on Site Info -> Manage Tools and add Rubrics
      4. Click Home after finishing the tool addition 
      5. Rubrics should now display in the navigation menu (currently it does not display for the instructor)

       If the instructor is unable to see Rubrics, check as admin to make sure the tool was actually added.

      1. Log in as the admin and visit both sites above
      2. Verify the tool does show up in the navigation menu

      I attempted to add rubrics in several sites, and tested both https://trunk-mysql.nightly.sakaiproject.org/portal/ and 
      https://trunk-oracle.nightly.sakaiproject.org/portal/.

      Even though under Manage Tools, rubrics display checked, rubrics do not show up on the navigation menu for the instructor on either server. I logged in as the admin and then I was able to see rubrics on the navigation menu.

      Am attaching the server logs for oracle from the point that the instructor role created the site.
