Major To replicate:
Add 8 announcements to your site
Add the Announcement widget to Lessons set to 5 announcements
Verify the announcements show properly.
Go to Announcements tool and start at the top of your list and edit each announcements making the first 5 open for a future date.
When you go to Lessons, it will say no announcements are available even though there are still 3 active announcements in the site. If you reorder the announcements and place the 3 active ones on the top, they still do not display in the Lessons widget.
