If this feature is developed and the conditional release feature is enabled on the Sakai instance...

      1. Create a site that has some users, Gradebook, and at least one Gradebook item.
      2. Upload a file into Resources, edit details, check the box for "Only if the following condition is met" and set a condition for the release of the item based on a Gradebook item, e.g. grade is greater than or equal to 50.
      3. Reset or refresh Resources. Verify that the Code Fork icon displays to the right of the file or folder name.

      Description

In the spirit of improving the user experience and, in some cases, accessibility, consider adding icons to Resources to help instructors or maintain users quickly see some "under the hood" settings for an item.

      FEATURE REQUEST

Add the Code Fork icon for files or folders that have a conditional release checkbox enabled (that will hide a Resources file or folder based on a condition related to a Gradebook item).

      Item Description
      Content Type File or Folder
Setting Choice "If the following condition is met"
      Proposed Icon fa-code-fork
Label for "Access" field There is no special label for a conditional-release item.  Follow the normal process for visible or hidden items.
Should the line be italicized? N/A.
Title I propose "Conditional release item."
Aria Label I am not sure if "" would be appropriate since a title exists?  If not, I propose "Conditional release item."
Who can see? Users with the "Create Resources" or "Edit any resource."  I did not include "Edit own resource" since the conditional release feature relies on Gradebook items. Someone with full access in a site (e.g. instructor) would be best able to leverage this feature. Would like to hear community discussion if this icon feature is of interest to the community.

In the "Access" field, the word "State" refers to one of the access settings for the file or folder in Resources. The states that I am aware of include:

      • Entire Site (default)
      • Public
      • Logged in users
      • Select group(s)
