- Use Firefox for testing
- As the instructor create a quiz with a short answer/essay question
- As the student (using Firefox), click to begin to the quiz
- In the short answer/essay question, click the Show Rich-Text Editor (and character count) link
Expected behavior: the rich text editor displays
This is inconsistent, but more times than not, the text box totally disappears and the rich text editor does not display.
If the instructor adds a question to a quiz that has the rich text editor, (e.g. Short Answer/Essay), and the student is in Firefox and clicks the link to expose the rich text editor, the text box disappears and the editor doesn't display.
I've tested this in Chrome and Edge as a student, clicking the Show Rich-Text Editor (and character count) link and it works in both of those browsers.
