      1. Go to a location in any tool where you can enter dates, e.g., Announcements > Add > Specify Dates.
      2. Open the date picker calendar and confirm there is no yellow highlight on "today's date" - you only see the dark blue indicator of the date you've selected.
      3. Select a different date and confirm you can still tell which date's selected.
      4. Repeat steps above in a few other tools where you can enter dates, to make sure behavior is consistent, e.g. Tests & Quizzes > create quiz > Settings, Assignments > Add

      Description

The date picker/calendar widget has a pale yellow background highlight to identify "today's date". This identifying mark is not accessible to visually-impaired users. If we were to replace this yellow highlight, it would confuse the user as to which date they are actually selecting on the calendar vs. which is "today's date".

Proposed fix: Remove the yellow highlight from "today's date", thus giving all users the same experience of the calendar (i.e., just select Now to set the date to today's date).
