      1. In a site with several students, create and publish a quiz/survey with a multiple choice, multiple selection question that has many answer options (e.g., A-T).
      2. Submit the quiz as at least 3 students. As each student, select several of the answer options from the first part of the alphabet, and several that include M and later letters.
      3. Log in as instructor and go to Published Copies > Scores > Item Analysis.
      4. Confirm that each answer option is displayed individually, with the appropriate number of responses under it.

      Description

If you create a multiple choice question with many answer options (e.g., A-T), the Item Analysis screen clumps together/summarizes all answer options including option M and any answer options later in the alphabet than that (as shown in the screen shot below from the nightly experimental server).

While the Statistics screen displays all the answer options individually, it can be easier to see at a glance which answer option has the most selections on the Item Analysis screen. I can't find any reason (other than aesthetics, to avoid scrolling) why this summary would occur, and users consider it a bug to not display all the answer options.

This is a request to display each answer option and the number of users who selected it individually on Item Analysis.
