When grading an Assignment, after typing in a student's grade, if the instructor clicks Add Attachment (whether they actually add an attachment or just close the Add Attachment window), then two zeroes are appended to the grade that the instructor entered.
Steps to replicate:
- As an instructor, create an Assignment. Set Grading to POINTS, and enter max points, such as 100. (It doesn't matter what other options you choose for the assignment.)
- After creating the assignment, you can have a student submit something or not, doesn't matter. As the instructor, go to the Assignments tab, and click GRADE below the assignment.
- Click on a student's name, and enter a Grade, such as 80.
- Scroll down and click Add Attachments. A window opens where you can browse to attach a file and then click Continue to return to the Grading screen. Or you can skip that and click X in upper right to close the window. Notice that the grade you entered in step 3 now has two zeroes appended on it: such as 8000.
Note: You can correct the grade and save, and all will be fine. However, if you return to the grading screen for this student, and click Add Attachments again, 2 zeroes will be appended again to the grade.
