Exporting a Gradebook spreadsheet with no gradebook columns, since Sakai 12, have included 3 example columns denoting the format necessary for columns which would then be IMPORTED back into the gradebook. The columns represent a set points column, a column with no points designated, a comment column, and a "note to self" column which does not import at all. They are:
Example Assignment With Points
Example Assignment With No Points
- Example Assignment With Points And Comments
- This column will be ignored
Expected Behavior: Instructors will understand what these column headers represent.
Actual Behavior: The column header * Example Assignment With Points And Comments as content in a single column is confusing. A valid interpretation or conclusion is that both the point value and comment are to be included in the same column.
We need a less ambiguous Example for the Export. Perhaps 2 columns:
Points With Comment Column
- Points With Comment Column
