As instructor, create an exam with a multiple choice multiple selection question.

Make A/B/C all correct answers and the total question value worth 1 point

      Publish the exam

As a student in the site, take/submit the exam getting full credit of 1 point.

As instructor, edit the published assessment/question

Update the question from MC/MS to MC/SS

*Notice the answers do not force you to fix the responses so all A, B, and C stay selected.

Leave them as is and save->Republish and Regrade

If fixed, the assessment should make the instructor fix the answer correctly on the question

In its current state, the instructor can save the question and when they review the already submitted attempts, students who received 1 point previously on that question will now show a score of 3 points as it scores all A, B, and C as correct.

      Description

If an instructor edits an exam and changes a selection on a multiple choice - multiple selection question to multiple choice - single selection, this can cause grading issues when the submissions are regraded.
