Environment:Sakai version 11 and 12
I have a user who is using Manjaro/KDE linux for the use of WebDAV.
It turns out he is redirected to the login authentication page when try to access the file in the site after WebDAV connection. We tested it by ourselves and got the same result.
Here's the steps to reproduce:
1. Run Manjaro/KDE Linux and follow the steps outlined in the Sakai WebDAV connection for KDE instruction.
2. Add a network volume to Dolphine and WebDAV connection is made successfully
3. Dolphine lists the available files and directories correctly.
4. Try to access the content of the individual file, you will be redirected to the raw HTML of the login authentication page (in our case: CAS login page)
We try to add a new file in Dolphine and the new file is loaded in Sakai properly, which indicates to me the WebDAV connection is made.
However, when we try to access the content of the new file, we are directed to the HTML of the login authentication page again.
We make the new file as public, hoping bypassing the login credential, but the Dolphine redirects us to the login page again.
Looks like KDE does not support WebDAV authentication flow correctly to me.
My first question is whether any community users are having a similar experience. If so, how did you resolve the issue? According to our user, this works properly in Sakai 11.x. If not, I feel like we need to change the instruction in WebDAV at least. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
