      Description

For non-electronic assignments only, if the instructor clicks on the "grade" or "in/new" link prior to the due date and/or accept until date, all students receive the following message: "Alert: The close date of the assignment has passed. You can no longer submit to this assignment." Even though the deadline has not passed. Also, the message indicating that it is a non-electronic assignment no longer displays.

Note that the instructor has not actually graded any assignments, only selected the grade or in/new link.
