      Description

If you attempt to grade an assignment with a rubric worth more points than the assignment is worth, the ratings are not saved.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Have a course site with at least 1 student, Assignments and Rubric tools present.
      2. Create a rubric worth 25 points.
      3. Create an assignment  worth 10 points. Other options do not appear to matter.
      4. Set the assignment to be graded with the 25-point rubric.
      5. Post the assignment.
      6. Click the grade option and click on the student's name.
      7. Click on the grading rubric tab.
      8. Use the rubric to give the student more than 10 points.
      9. Save and Release to students (will receive warning that you are entering a score above the maximum allowed)
      10. Save and release again to confirm.
      11. Log in as the student and view the assignment feedback. You'll see the points and any comments, but the rubric has all criterion at the lowest rating, not the ratings you set in step 8.
      12. Log back in as instructor.
      13. Return to the grading the assignment. View that student's rubric again. Instructor's view also has all criterion reset to the lowest level.

If the system is going to allow instructors to apply rubrics worth more points than the assignment, it needs to continue to work properly. Losing the ratings doesn't give the student any useful feedback. It also makes it more difficult for the instructor to try to fix things if they chose, since they have only the points, and not the ratings that lead to that total.
