    • Priority: Minor
    • Resolution: Unresolved

    • Test Plan:
      1. Select desired recipients
      2. Type in desired subject
      3. Select Enter on keyboard
      4. Email does NOT send. Would be equally bad if page refreshes and data is cleared.

      Description

If the Subject field is in focus/current selected field and user selects Enter key, will trigger to send email.

While I don't consider it a normal/average practice of users doing this, changing Sakai behavior may save some users from accidentally sending blank emails.

      Two potential alternatives:

      1. Making the Message field a required field. Most likely if user has just entered Subject, they haven't entered message yet so if Enter was selected while in Subject field, Sakai would indicate a required field is missing.
      2. Disabling the Enter key having an affect in that field

Tagging UX for review. This may have accessibility concerns as well.

Sidenote: Under Component field, all the email related options don't seem correct.
