      Description

In Gradebook > Settings > Categories &  Weighting, if "Categories only" is checked, when the user creates multiple empty categories that don't have a name and click "Save Changes," Sakai will automatically delete these empty categories. (See the first screenshot) This can be helpful when an instructor mistakenly presses "enter" for multiple times.

However, if "Categories & weighting" is checked, when the user does the same action and click "Save Changes," an error message appears: "You can not save multiple categories in a gradebook with the same name." (See the second screenshot)This might cause by an automatic assignment of 0 percent to the empty new categories. This message can be misleading, making the user check whether the category names have been misspelled.

Given this circumstance, I think "Categories & weighting" should act the same as "Categories only" and delete the empty categories automatically upon saving.
