    Description

The color red is typically used to indicate when something is late. Currently, the student view of T&Q shows the due date in red with (late) after the date for assessments which allow late submissions. However, the instructor view does not have an indication of the items accepting late submissions other than the "active" status. (See attached.)

The T&L group recommends that the instructor view also show active late items with the due date in red with the (late) indicator after the date. (Note that dark red should be used to provide sufficient contrast.) T&L also recommends that the color red only be used to indicate late items. Red text should not be used for upcoming items, to avoid confusion.
