      Description

Gradebook options for a test (extra credit, include in course grade calculations, release to students) are reset to the default if you edit settings in Tests & Quizzes. The only option that the instructor can set in Gradebook that isn't reset when the test settings are modified is the category (if categories or categories & weighting are set up in Gradebook).

One of my instructors noticed this on our server, and I was able to reproduce it on the QA servers. She had the gradebook item set not to be released or included in the course grade, since it was an essay test and she didn't want students to go crazy seeing a zero for their score. She had to add an exception, and it reset those gradebook options.
