In Trunk, or on another nightly instance (i.e. 19.x, 20.x, 21.x, etc.), navigate to a course site that contains some students, then: If necessary, add the Tests & Quizzes tool. Navigate to the Tests & Quizzes tool. Create an exam with a single MC question. Specify a point value of "1" and a minimum point value of "1."  Keep all other question settings default. Now, in the Exam settings, put in some default settings, (i.e. set it to be due some date in the future, timer of 5 minutes, etc). But be sure to: Go to "Layout and Appearance" and select " Linear access to questions with NO return to previous pages ." Publish the exam. Log in as a test student, and begin the exam. Important: Do not answer the question . Submit the exam. Log back in as the instructor and navigate to the student's submission. You'll observe that the student was awarded 1 point, despite having not attempted the question. If this has been fixed, then the MPV should only be awarded to attempted questions in linear access exams.  Note*: The MPV feature does appear to work as expected if the exam is configured for "Random Access."
