    Description

In Tests & Quizzes, when grading by question, using rubrics set to allow score adjustment, instructors may be unable to advance to the next question. There is no warning message displayed, and there is nothing that indicates a problem.

The score and rubric ratings are saved. If you view feedback as a student, or return to the question as an instructor, the rubrics and adjusted points are what was entered.

Circumstances I have found this happens with:

      • Negative points for a criterion (overall question score is positive): The total score reflects the point subtraction.
      • Negative points for a question: It sets the total score to zero.
      • 3+ decimal places: It rounds to two decimal places.
      • Bonus points: total reflects the additional points above the criterion or question maximum

The total score is being corrected, as expected, but instructor is still unable to continue to the next question until the rubric itself is corrected.
