      1. You'll need a course site, and instructor, and two or three students.
      2. As the instructor, import the attached 10 point quiz.
      3. Have each student take the quiz. Student 1 choosing all the B answers and clicking Next, then using the TOC only to navigate, and change all the even numbered questions to the answer D. (without clicking Save, Next, or Previous).
      4. Now have another student take the quiz. This time choosing all the B answers and clicking Next, then using the TOC only to navigate, and change all the even numbered questions to the answer D. This time click SAVE for each change. Now return using the TOC to each question you changed the answer to (2,4,6,and 8). There is no indication the answer was changed and saved. The blackened radio button remains on the originally chosen answer.
      5. Now as the Instructor, in Tests & Quizzes select the exam submission number, choose one of the students, scroll down to the visualization of the student answers and observe what is described above. The Instructor has indicators of which answer was chosen first, and each subsequent change afterwards (although not their respective order).

      Description

      1. Students will jump from one question to another thru the TOC without using the Save, Next or Previous button in between.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: Their answer will be saved. AND their changed answer(s) will indicate the change should they return to that question yet again.
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR: The radio button for their first select remains filled in with no indication they chose another selection.
      2. Students will take a timed test linearly (with Save, and/or Next), and then use the TOC to return to problematic questions, changing the answer(s) and this time clicking SAVE.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: When they return another time to the changed answer, the M/C radio button on their last saved answer will be selected.
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR: The radio button for their original selection remains filled in with no indication they chose another selection.
      3. The Instructor views an individual students test result, question by question.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR: The student's selected answer is indicated by a filled in radio button. Symbols to the left indicate the student answer as wrong (X) or right (√), and indicate the correct answer as the (√) if the students' answer is incorrect.
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR: Red X is displayed for each wrong answer the student has selected, although the filled in radio button always indicates their first answer no matter how many times they select another M/C response. If none of the students' answers is correct, the student gets 0 points. If one of the students' answers, even if NOT the last answer, is correct, the student gets the allotted points.
