      1. Create a site with Tests & Quizzes and at least 5 students.
      2. Create a quiz from scratch.
      3. Add a matching question, where the matching question has at least two None of the Above answers. Here's an example:

Match the software to the file type typically created with it.

          Choice Match
        1 Word .doc
        2 Adobe Acrobat .pdf
        3 Notepad .txt
        4 Excel .xls
5 Dreamweaver None of the Above
6 PowerPoint None of the Above

      4. Save the question.
      5. Add another matching question, this time with Existing Match for at least one of the answers. Example:

Each item in the list below has a different name in UVA's Sakai instance. Match the name the UVA user sees to the item.

          Choice Match
        1 Sakai UVACollab
        2 Samigo Tests & Quizzes
        3 Email Archive Site Email
4 Statistics Not different in Sakai and UVACollab.
        5 Drop Box File Drop
        6 Messages Existing > 4
      6. Publish the quiz.
      7. Edit the published copy.
      8. Edit the first question in the published copy.
      9. Make a change that is not to the answers (e.g., add correct/incorrect answer feedback).
      10. Save the question.
      11. Edit the second question in the published copy.
      12. Don't make any changes, just Save.
      13. Current behavior: All "None of the Above" and "Existing Match" answers have been incorrectly converted to "New" matches.  For **None of the Above, neither answer will actually appear at the bottom of the list of answer options, and there is no way for the student to know which *None of the Above* or "existing match" answer to choose for each option to answer correctly.

If you attempt to Edit the question again and then Edit one of the affected choice/match pairs, you will see the problem.

Expected behavior: None of the Above answers are still None of the Above.  Upon editing the question again in the published copy, and editing each affected answer, the appropriate match of *None of the Above* or the number for the existing match is indicated. There should NOT be a text box/editor shown for the answer of *None of the Above* or the existing match.
      14. Republish quiz after editing.
      15. Take the quiz as students, as follows:
        • Student 1: Answer all correctly.
        • Student 2: Answer all but the ones that have None of the Above answers correctly; answer the ones that have None of the Above answers incorrectly.
        • Student 3: Answer some correctly, some incorrectly; leave one of the choices that has a None of the Above answer unanswered/blank.
        • Student 4: Don't answer any except for the two with None of the Above answers - answer those two correctly.
        • Student 5: Answer some correctly, some incorrectly; leave at least one that does not have a None of the Above answer unanswered/blank.
For all students: You should only find one "None of the Above" answer, and it should be at the bottom of the answer options listed.
      16. As instructor, go to Scores > Questions. All student responses should be scored as appropriate for the number of correct/incorrect answers.

    Description

If you create a quiz with a matching question that has at least one None of the Above or Existing Match answer, publish the quiz, and attempt to edit the question in the published copy (e.g., to add feedback), all None of the Above/Existing Match answers are incorrectly converted to New matches and the question breaks.
