      Description

The max score possible on the total scores view and the total score possible on the statistics view doesn't stay consistent. For example, if I take an assessment and I receive 10 points, then the max score and the total score is 10. However, if I take the exact same assessment and I receive 14 points, then the max score is 10 and the total score is 14. It's really hard to tell what's going on, but it isn't right.

What is the max score anyway? I was assuming that it was the max score for an assessment, but now I'm not so sure. Is it the maximum total points awarded for the assessment or is it the maximum number of points received by a user? If it is the max for the assessment, does it take extra credit into account? I wouldn't assume so, but you never know. Also, what is the total score? I was assuming it was the same as the max score, but again, now I'm not so sure. If there is a place where this info is written down and I can review it, just point me in the right direction. I checked the screens, but they don't have this type of information.

Sorry to be so out of the loop!
