With the new portal feature added in SAK-19156, tools can now request to have more area. This JIRA will add support for this to the Basic LTI portlet.

Basic LTI is pretty simple as it has three categories of screens:
(1) The default "unconfigured" screen
(2) The configuration screens
(3) When the tool is fully configured, content is launched in an iframe

The portlet will only request maximum space when it is in (3).

As a side note, the "maximize tool request" is only allowed if the feature is enabled in the portal.

Further, the code will be in a Javascript try/catch block so it will work seamlessly with all recent and future versions of Sakai portals with or without the "tool max" feature.
